Brandeis National Committee is dedicated to providing philanthropic support to Brandeis University, a distinguished liberal arts and research university founded by the American Jewish community. Its membership is connected to the university through fundraising and through activities that reflect the values on which the university was founded: academic excellence, social justice, non-sectarianism and service to the community.
- Two out of three Brandeis students receive some form of financial aid.Â
- In the 2013-14 academic year, Brandeis awarded $88.4 million in scholarship aid (undergraduates and graduate students).
- For the same period, the endowment and annual gifts designated to scholarships provided $17.2 million (19.4% of the total financial aid budget).
Libraries are the heart of a great university, the lifeline of teaching, learning and research. The remarkable growth of the Brandeis Libraries has been achieved with the help of generous women and men who recognize the link between a world-class library and a high-quality education. Make an impact on one of America's leading research universities.

Current Campaign - ENGINEERING THE FUTURE: BNC PROFESSORSHIP IN ENGINEERING SCIENCES

Materials, Research, Science and Engineering Centers
Engineering Program
BNC's new multi-year campaign, Engineering the Future, will raise money for the BNC
Professorship in Engineering Science, supporting a new engineering program that will
immerse undergraduate students in engineering culture and provide them with the
essential skills to become engineers and design solutions to complex problems.
Engineering students at Brandeis have already begun making the world a better place. In
their inaugural course, they designed innovative solutions like robotic prosthetic limbs
and accessible silverware for individuals with tremors. With your support, we envision a
future where our engineering program continues to cultivate conscientious and skilled
engineers who will tackle the challenges of tomorrow.

SUSTAINING THE MIND FUND
As people live longer, neurodevelopmental disorders have become a global epidemic. At the same time, government funding for scientific research is shrinking. Private support is important to help bridge the gap so that a cure can be found for these devastating diseases.
The Sustaining the Mind Fund supports neuroscience research at Brandeis and endowed scholarships for students in the sciences. Research is the key to finding a cure.
Brandeis Libraries Book Fund
Libraries are the heart of a great university, the lifeline of teaching, learning and research. The remarkable growth of the Brandeis Libraries has been achieved with the help of generous women and men who recognize the link between a world-class library and a high-quality education. Through a wide range of giving opportunities, you can fulfill your interest in books and learning and make an impact on one of America's leading research universities.
BNC Scholarship FUND
Financial assistance plays a pivotal role in upholding Brandeis' founding principle of equal access to high education, regardless of a student's financial circumstance. Scholarships ensure that the best and brightest students are able to pursue an education at this unique institution.
Endowed scholarship funds, which provide a consistent, dependable funding source are required to accomplish this.Â
Diana Saucedo is a recipient of our chapter's endowed scholarship to Brandeis. She is very appreciative and sent us a thank you note, which you can read here.
